Who We Are


Taryn Fergel


I am a junior from Aberdeen, SD double-majoring in both pharmacy and psychology, with a minor in biology. I currently work in the Hy-Vee pharmacy in Brookings, as well as working as a research student on an opioid dependence rehabilitation grant. I also love reading and going for walks at the Dakota Nature Park. As President of the Omega Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon, I hope to continuously support my sisters in all their endeavors and to always be someone that any of the girls can confide in and come to for help. I am also excited to be a part of our philanthropy committee for our second Success Week this spring. 

Annika Spors 

Vice President

I am a junior from New London, MN double majoring in mathematics and data science with minors in accounting. On campus, I'm involved in Math Club and work as a research assistant analyzing genetic data. Outside of school, my hobbies include reading, cooking, baking, hiking, and going on road trips. As Vice President, I hope to be a source of guidance and support for my sisters and to help lead our chapter through a successful year. 


Sydney Slouka

Membership Educator

I am a sophomore from Harrisburg, SD. I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice and Mental Health Services. I enjoy reading, thrifting, hiking, and binge-watching TV shows in my free time. As Membership Educator, I’m excited to get to know our candidates and help them in becoming members of an awesome sisterhood.

Jaclyn Meier


I'm a sophomore from Fairbault, MN majoring in Consumer Affairs with a specialization in Family Financial Management. My minor is Financial Counseling. I'm involved in Best Buddies, Special Olympics, and Investment Club. I enjoy hiking, The Bachelor, and meeting new dogs. I am the treasurer and love helping the chapter.

Kylie Larson


Hi, my name is Kylie and I am the secretary of A.O.E. I was born and raised here in South Dakota. I am a biochemistry major and biology minor in hopes of attending medical school. I have recently become a community assistant on campus in the honors hall. I hope to organize and keep track of all A.O.E.-related events and send out minutes accoridngly.

Hannah Schrader

Historian, Recruitment committee and Risk Reduction Committee

I am a sophomore from Neligh, NE. I am majoring in Agriculture Education with a minor in Horticulture. On-campus I am also part of the Ag Ed club and I am currently the VP of Public Relations for CPH. I also work at the Jackrabbit Philanthropy Center. In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, and working out. As the historian, I am looking forward to growing our social media presence and as part of the recruitment committee, I am excited to help the chapter grow.

Olivia Warner

Philanthropy and social chair

I am a junior chemistry and biochemistry double major. I am the philanthropy and social chair for this semester. At SDSU I am involved in the chemistry club and research in Dr. Halaweish's lab. I also have a part-time job with POET at the research park.

Ally de la Cruz

CPH Representative

I am a freshman from Amery, Wisconsin. I am majoring in English Education and minoring in Spanish with hopes to become a high school English teacher. I am excited to be CPH delegate to help our chapter grow, as well as to create a fun atmosphere for all of Greek Life. 


Jordana Schutte

Risk Reduction Committee & Alumni Relations

I am a junior Conversation Planning and Park Management major and Recreation Administration minor from Cologne, MN. On-campus, I am a Community Assistant in Binnewies Hall as well as a squad leader in the Pride of the Dakotas marching band. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends. As Alumni Relations, I hope to continue fostering the relationship between sisters of all ages. As head of the Risk Reduction Committee, I hope to support my sisters in any way they may need, including being someone they feel comfortable talking to when they are struggling. 

Elizabeth Braley

Professional Academic

I am a senior Consumer Affairs major, with minors in leadership and management in nonprofit organizations and financial counseling. I am not too far away from my hometown, Sioux Falls, so I enjoy visiting home on the weekends. I also like to make jewelry, go shopping, and watch my favorite tv show, Friends. As the Professional Academic chair, I hope to continue to improve our chapter's professional skills by hosting workshops and study tables. As a member of the recruitment committee, I am excited to meet new girls and tell them all the benefits of joining our sisterhood. 


Andrea Berends

Active Chapter Advisory Committee Representative

I'm a senior music education major, with an instrumental emphasis, currently student teaching, from Echo, Minnesota. I'm involved in different ensembles, such as The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band, Concert Band, Choralia, and Pep Band. I'm also on the State A Thon Executive Board as the Families Co-Chair. I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing piano, and spending time with my friends and family. I also spend a lot of time in the SDSU Foundation Philanthropy Center, where I work as a supervisor. As ACAR, I hope to connect with the other Midwest regional chapters of Alpha Omega Epsilon and be an excellent liaison between our chapter and the International Executive Board.
